Personal data privacy policy
Updated on 22/10/2026. Applies to the bandoso.org website and the BIGMAP app on iOS and Android.
BIGMAP (bandoso.org) is operated by Bignet Company. We only collect the data needed for the features you use; we do not sell personal data, do not use data for targeted advertising, and do not track you across other parties' apps or websites.
1. Data we collect
- User account: full name, phone number (required, used to sign in and for businesses to contact you when you send a request), email, date of birth and address (optional, added by you), password (stored one-way hashed).
- What you submitted: inquiry messages, appointments, reviews, place suggestions, violation reports.
- Location: only with your permission and only while the app is open, to find businesses near you and calculate routes. The app does not access your location in the background.
- Search history and usage: search keywords, number of searches / directions per day (to apply quotas by account level).
- ID: account ID; for business accounts, the device ID used to send new-customer notifications.
- Technical data: access time, IP address, browser / device type — to prevent spam and abuse and for security.
The app does not access your contacts, photos, camera or microphone, and does not use third-party analytics or advertising tools.
2. Purposes of use
- Providing features: search, map, directions, messaging for advice, booking, saving places, points and levels.
- We forward your request to a suitable business for advice.
- Account management, preventing duplicate submissions, fraud and violating content; handling violation reports.
- Aggregate (non-identifying) statistics to improve the service.
3. Data sharing
- Business: when you send a message or make a booking, your name and message are forwarded to the business. Your phone number is only shown to a business that has confirmed accepting your request.
- Reviews you write is shown publicly with your shortened name.
- Service provider processing on our behalf: Vietmap (maps, address search, route calculation — receives coordinates, not account information), notification services from Expo, Apple and Google, and server providers.
- Government agency competent authorities when required by law.
4. Storage and security
Data is stored on BIGMAP's servers and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are one-way hashed. Only authorized staff can access data, and all administrative actions are logged. Account data is kept until you delete your account.
5. Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account at any time: in the app, go to Account › Delete account, or follow the instructions at bandoso.org/xoa-tai-khoan.
When you delete your account, we immediately delete your profile, addresses, saved places, points and usage history, and sign you out of all devices. Requests and messages already forwarded to businesses are kept as transaction records between you and the business (no longer linked to your account); you can request deletion of these as well by emailing hotro@bandoso.org, we will process it within 30 days.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, withdraw consent, object to or restrict processing in accordance with Vietnamese law on personal data protection. You can edit your information in Account › Personal information, turn off location / notification permissions in your phone settings, or send a request by email below.
7. Children
The service is for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if we discover any, we will delete it.
8. Contact
